Maricel Driscoll

I am an experienced attorney with a background in both civil and criminal law, currently serving as a Deputy Prosecutor in Delaware County, Indiana, since 2016. Before this role, I served as a Deputy Attorney General with the Indiana Attorney General’s Office from 2013 to 2016. I earned my J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012 and graduated from Ball State University in 2005. I’ve been licensed to practice law since 2012.

Service and community have always been at the heart of my work. My father was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving our country for 21 years. His example instilled in me a deep respect for those who serve, which is why I’m honored to be part of the Veteran’s Court team—supporting those who have sacrificed for our nation.

Outside the courtroom, I stay actively involved in the community through board service. I’ve served on the Delaware County Prevention Council, Delaware County CASA Champions for Children Board, Muncie Baseball and Softball Association Board, Open Door Health Services Board of Directors, and the Center Township Trustee Board. These opportunities allow me to contribute to causes that promote health, safety, and positive youth development throughout Delaware County.

Professional Biography

I grew up in a proud military family, with my father serving 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. His service took us to many places, but we ultimately planted roots in Peru, Indiana after his retirement. I graduated from Maconaquah High School in nearby Bunker Hill in 2001, and it was in our hometown of Peru where I met the love of my life, Nicole, in 2006. We were married in 2017, and today we've made Muncie, Delaware County our home—a place filled with love, laughter, and the joyful adventure of raising our twin daughters.

In our free time, we love spending our days with the girls, traveling to North Carolina to soak in the scenery and reconnect, and when time allows, we enjoy sneaking in an occasional round of golf. Family, community, and creating lasting memories are at the heart of everything we do, and I'm grateful for every chapter of this journey.
