The team was ready for a fun night and had a great time at the Muncie Police and Fire Trunk or Treat tonight! It was a great night for so many families out enjoying the festivities, meeting our amazing first responders, and celebrating Halloween together as a community.

A big thank you to the Muncie Police and Fire Departments for hosting such a fun and safe event — and to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

Another great night in the community at the Broken Church Trunk or Treat! It was a chilly one…but fun nonetheless…absolutely love seeing all of the costumes!

What an amazing time at the 29th Annual Red Ribbon Community Breakfast, hosted by the Delaware County Prevention Council! The PRIDE team members delivered a stellar performance, and the keynote speaker, Jennifer Bell, founder and director of Road to Redemption Addiction Recovery Group, spoke about addiction, recovery, and Brian’s story and legacy.

I proudly serve on the Executive Board of the Delaware County Prevention Council and truly look forward to this event every year! Together, we’re creating a community of support and healing, and making a real difference in the fight against addiction.

Congratulations Jayne Meranda on receiving the Jean Wright Community Dedication Award…there is nobody more deserving!

Had a great afternoon today at the 2nd Annual Recovery Carnival hosted by Recovery Cafe Muncie and PAST Recovery Services! It was an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and giving back to a great cause. And yes, I even took a couple of pies to the face (all for a good reason)!

One of the highlights of the event was hearing firsthand the powerful testimony of someone in recovery. His story was a raw reminder of the obstacles many face on their road to recovery and the strength it takes to overcome them.

As the Deputy Prosecutor and a member of the Drug Court Committee, this experience continues to give me a fresh and deeply personal perspective on addiction. It’s a tough journey for many of our participants, but the resilience and courage they show every day are truly inspiring.

I’m committed to supporting these efforts and advocating for solutions that help people rebuild their lives.
